KPMG-2019 Mid-Year Budget Highlights

The midyear budget statement presented to Parliament by the Finance Minister, Hon Ken. Ofori-Atta, was a review of Government’s fiscal and macro-economic performance within the first half year of 2019.

This was on the back of Government’s 2019 Budget Statement: “A stronger economy for jobs and prosperity”.

This midyear budget focused on key priority areas comprising – the cancellation of the Luxury Vehicle Tax; increase in Communication Service Tax; increase in Energy Sector Levies and Tax incentives for 1D1F companies.
