MEST Value Chain Huddle

MEST Scale in partnership with CCI France Ghana, ABSA Bank and Mastercard Foundation hosted the second edition of the Value Chain Huddle on September 28th, 2023 at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel. The event seek to provide participants with an opportunity to engage key members of their existing value chain. It started at 9:00 am till 3:30 pm GMT, with a networking session taking place from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm
The Value Chain Huddle provided participants with an opportunity to engage key members of their existing value chain in hopes to to enhance their partnerships, but also others that fit into the gaps that were highlighted prior to the event, as well as other key ecosystem players. The MEST Scale and their invited guests formed breakout groups based on the value chains in order to facilitate these discussions. These smaller groups worked together to identify gaps in their value chains, worked together to identify possible synergies and areas in which they could form partnerships to overcome these gaps/barriers, as well as general discussions on how to strengthen their existing relationships. Participants got the chance to attend a panel discussion based on their preferred value chain of interest. Two main sector value chains were targeted in the various huddle sessions during the event: i.e Agriculture and Finance
Following the completion of the Value Chain Huddle session, attendees participated in a networking session in order to provide them with the opportunity to engage with stakeholders in their value chain beyond the initial discussions, strengthening their existing relationships and forging new ones.
