Dutch and Company Limited (Dutch & Co), a leading Ghanaian-based company, has been honored with the prestigious C&I Project of the Year award by the African Solar Industry Association (AFSIA). This accolade was presented during the AFSIA Award Gala Reception held at the Movenpick Hotel & Residences in Nairobi.
Dutch & Co emerged as the winner among three distinguished nominees, recognized for their exceptional work as the PV EPC and O&M contractor for the 16.82 MWp Megawarehouse project. This landmark project, owned by Helios Solar Company Ltd, a subsidiary of the LMI Group of Companies also based in Ghana, stands as Africa's largest single rooftop solar installation and the second largest globally.
The award was received by Herbert Friese, General Manager of Dutch & Co, who expressed his gratitude and pride in the company's achievement. "This award is a testament to our team's dedication and expertise in delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions. We are honored to be recognized by AFSIA and remain committed to advancing solar energy across Africa," said Friese.
