Following the successful launch of its West Hills Mall branch earlier this year, leading sports retailer Decathlon has officially opened its doors at the Accra Mall. The grand opening ceremony, held on a vibrant Wednesday, brought together an impressive lineup of notable personalities, including the French Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Jules Armand Aniambossou; Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy; musician Deborah Vanessa; Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo; and FIFA Licensed Agent Daniel Boifio Junior.

Plans for Regional Expansion
Ebenezer Mensah, the Store Manager for the new Accra Mall branch, shared Decathlon’s ambitious plans to expand beyond Accra. Speaking to journalists at the event, he emphasized the company’s commitment to making quality sporting goods accessible across Ghana.
“We have an exciting expansion plan starting next year. While we’re currently focused on Accra, we are looking to establish branches in Kumasi and other regions. Customers in Kumasi and the Northern part of Ghana can expect to see us there soon,” he said.

As the official sports retailer for the Ghana Football Association, Decathlon has solidified its place in Ghana’s sports ecosystem.
