Federated Commodities Limited (FEDCO) is a Ghanaian-based Licensed Cocoa Buying company (LBC), established in 1996 and operates in 68 cocoa districts across the seven cocoa-growing regions of Ghana. FEDCO is a top 3 cocoa sourcing company and 29th in Ghana Club 100. With 70,000 plus cocoa farmers and a fleet of 200 owned and leased trucks, FEDCO sources over 75,000MT of cocoa annually.
FEDCO also sources sustainable cocoa for its international clients including chocolatiers and traders under the RA, Organic and Traceable certification schemes (implementation of Fair Trade Certification underway).
FEDCO’s vision of being the LBC of choice with a commitment to improving lives facilitates the production and purchase of quality cocoa and other agricultural produce and contributes towards the sustainable livelihood of all stakeholders.
Our sustainability program seeks to eradicate child labour, empower women, protect the environment (afforestation projects and determination of Land Use Change) and tailored coaching of farmers.
