The Ghana Mining Industry Awards (GMIA) is meant to promote, encourage, recognize, and celebrate outstanding achievements as well as excellence in the mining industry.
ZEN's mining operations team was named Best Performer in Local Manufacturing of Mining Supplies and Support Services at the just ended Ghana Mining Industry Awards organised by the Ghana chamber of mines. The award is aimed at rewarding outstanding businesses and individuals who have made significant contributions to Ghana's mining industry in the past year.

The Ghana Chamber of Mines is the main minerals industry association in Ghana. The Chamber represents the collective interests of companies involved in mineral exploration, production and processing in Ghana.
Its activities are entirely funded by its member companies, which produce majority of Ghana’s mineral output. The Chamber has represented the industry’s interests since 1928.
