Welcome to Ghana's first, National Energy Summit

Ghana’s first national Oil, Gas and Energy Summit, reopening routes for Ghana and the international hydrocarbons industry...

The Energy Circle by IN-VR is organising Ghana’s first, national Energy Summit, taking place on the 14th and 15 of November 2022, under the full endorsement of the Ghanaian Ministry of Energy. The first Energy summit in this country will take place physically in Accra, bringing the country's key energy players together to discuss the country’s most recent energy developments, challenges and opportunities.

New opportunities are opening for International Energy Companies (IECs), local energy companies and service providers, as Ghana's government continuously participates in developing new energy plans and projects, preserving political and economic stability, sustaining a continuous growth of the country's GDP, and updating the international community in LNG, downstream, renewables, Net-Zero targets, lithium, among other important topics, that are further setting Ghana on the sub-Saharan, African and global energy map.

The Ghanian Energy Summit’s speaker lineup includes the country’s most influential and important energy players,

  • Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minister of Energy, Ministry of Energy Ghana
  • David Ampofo, CEO, Ghana Upstream Petroleum Chamber (GUPC)
  • Yofi Grant, CEO, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC)

Discover Ghana’s latest hydrocarbon discoveries, upstream and downstream planning, as well as new projects that are expected to boost Ghana closer to its neighbours through networking session, panel discussions and more.

During the summit, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, major IECs, and operators present in the country will be presenting their newest opportunities, Ghana’s upcoming Licensing Round, as well as the role of the government, local and international players in the development of key hydrocarbon resources, including energy storage and mining projects.

Based on the above, the Energy Circle by IN-VR, is formally inviting you to be part of an in-person event that seeks to bring together and promote the potential offered by the country in the areas of conventional resources, fuels of the future, energy transition, and more.

The Summit will offer a meeting platform and a unique opportunity to listen to key players behind Ghana's energy developments, and their plans on how to attract local, regional and international investment in order to launch several of these indispensable projects.
