Nexans Climate Day 2022 - Sustainable Solutions for the Energy Transition
Can offshore wind help solve the energy crisis? What will the supply chain look like in the US for cleaner sources of energy?
Nexans organized its third annual meeting for the Climate in New York on September 21, 2022. This event is part of the broader framework of Climate Week NYC , of which Nexans is a privileged partner and a sponsor of the RE100 prize.
The "Climate Day" is a unique meeting, allowing different actors involved in sustainable development to exchange and debate for the implementation of concrete solutions. The theme of this 2022 edition is Energy Independence , at a time when the subject has never been so topical, with an emphasis on sustainable projects for the energy transition.
Speakers from the offshore wind industry, leading politicians, experts and Nexans representatives will be present. Key topics discussed, including through panels, include next steps to address the challenge of climate change, the future of offshore wind in the United States, including the domestic supply chain, and economic benefits of the energy transition.
