On Thursday the 1st of July, some members of CCI France Ghana visited Bunge Loders Croklaan (BLC), the shea butter processing plant of Bunge Limited in the Tema Industrial Area.
The facility is BLC’s first shea processing plant in Africa and the largest of its kind on the continent.
Members were first taken through presentations by staff of BLC, and toured the facility, which is a fully automated solvent fractionation plant that processes raw shea butter made from locally collected and crushed shea nuts.
All members were gifted with souvenirs by the Bunge Team at the end of the tour.
