Cargill Cares Easter and World Food Day Activities

This easter Cargill donated Covid-19 prevention items and Food to two Orphanages in Tema (Save Them Young Orphanage and Remar Ghana Children Home)...

Cargill Ghana Ltd is a Cocoa Processing plant in the Free Zone Enclave in Tema.

It started operations in 2008 and processes Cocoa Beans into Cocoa Powder and Cocoa Butter.

Within the organisation we have Employee led Volunteering group known as Cargill Cares:

we and our colleagues put our knowledge, skills, time, and resources at work to address practical needs in the areas of Education, Environment, Health and Nutrition. So, we are happy to support the Eastern Orphan Project organised by CITIFM, supporting with ₵5,000.00 can help improve nutritional and educational needs of the children.

This Easter, beside our contribution to this CITIFM-project, we also donated Covid-19 prevention items and Food items to two Orphanages in Tema (Save Them Young Orphanage and Remar Ghana Children Home)

Each year Cargill Cares also provide hot lunch plus donation of assorted food items to the State School for the Deaf at Ashaiman on World Food Day.
