Introduction:

Feminist leadership principles offer a transformative framework for reimagining leadership in the workplace. Grounded in principles of equity, inclusion, and empowerment, feminist leadership challenges traditional hierarchical models and fosters environments where all individuals can thrive. This workshop aims to delve into the core principles of feminist leadership and provide practical strategies for their application in various workplace contexts.

Objectives of the workshop:

Facilitator:

Genevieve Partington is the Country Director of Amnesty International Ghana.  She is a passionate human rights defender and expert in transformative leadership with a strong academic background in Development Studies and International Relations. With a master’s degree in these fields, she brings a wealth of theoretical knowledge and practical experience to her work in advancing gender equality, social justice, and human rights.

Throughout her career, Genevieve has demonstrated a deep commitment to promoting feminist leadership principles and empowering individuals to enact positive change in their communities and workplaces. Her expertise lies in bridging theory and practice, providing practical tools and strategies for integrating feminist principles into leadership roles.

As a seasoned facilitator, she has conducted numerous workshops and training sessions on feminist leadership, focusing on topics such as intersectionality, inclusive decision-making, and transformative conflict resolution. Her approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a deep understanding of the complex dynamics of power and privilege. She is known for her ability to inspire and empower others to become agents of change in their respective spheres of influence.
