We are very pleased to announce the next event hosted by Euroconvention Global in the West-Africa region and to which CCIFG will participate as Supporting Organization: Renpower Ghana 2019 – The Renewable Energy & Power Infrastructure Investors Conference.

Background
As you know, Ghana recently announced a new Renewable Energy Master Plan, which notably aims to increase the penetration of renewable energy in the national energy generation mix from the 2015 baseline of 42.5 MW to 1363.63 MW (with grid connected systems totaling 1094.63 MW). The plan refers to clear targets and strategies to increase the renewable energy installed capacity of the country. Among the strategies, the plan aims to support the private sector through concessional financing and government on-lending facilities for renewable energy investments. It will also boost and sustain local assembling and manufacturing of renewable energy technologies. Furthermore, the plan includes new steps to promote deployment of off-grid and mini-grids technologies for rural area's electrification.
