CCI France Ghana undertakes collective mission

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Ghana (CCIFG) facilitated a collective trade mission to Ghana in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bourgogne Franche Comté

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Ghana (CCIFG) hosted the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bourgogne Franche Comté led delegation of French businesses to undertake a collective mission with the objective of extending business activity to Ghana from 8th to 10th May 2018. 

The collective mission to Ghana follows after a series of trips to France on the CCIFG Ghana Day tour which promotes the Ghanaian market. The objective of the collective mission was to assist the companies to prospect the Ghanaian market while meeting with various companies to hopefully establish viable business relations with and extend business activity to Ghana. 

Led by Estelle Millet, Head of Sectorial Industries at CCI Bourgogne Franche Comté, the delegation was made up of 6 companies namely: Afrique Telecom which provides Internet Protocol (IP) satellite, technology and  telecommunication services; Editions Robert Martin whose domain is musical instruments and uniforms; Fastring who are into industrial equipment; Pompes Japy who are into motor pumps; Saurea whose expertise is renewable energy solutions; and Serelio who are also into renewable energy solutions. The delegation during their 2-days visit met with over 50 companies in sectors related to their business activity to explore the potential of future business partnerships.   

The CCI Bourgogne Franche Comté collective mission to Ghana comes as a result of a Ghana Day tour that took place in June in Dole, France. The mission is one of a series of collective missions being organised in collaboration with other CCIs abroad. CCI France Ghana during the year 2018 has been very active in its promotion of the Ghanaian market. So far actions that have been taken to ensure this promotion has been 11 in addition to hosting the CAP Afrique delegation of African experts to explore the potential that exists in the local market. 

Currently, the Managing Director of the CCIFG is on a Ghana Day tour in France to meet with businesses ahead of another collective mission that will take place at the beginning of 2019. CCI France Ghana continues to play it’s as a key player in the promotion of the Ghanaian activity in order to draw businesses to Ghana.
